Also, it got new tires this morning!
They are Hankook Kinergy PT H737s. I know nothing about them other than it’s a new design, and they were under $60 per tire with a 90k tread warranty. They’re a huge improvement over the tires it had.
Also, I let my partner drive it today. He's a bit out of practice with a manual. I doubt he'll want to drive it again.

Very snazzy. Looking forward to hearing more about the Cube. I wasn't crazy about the asymmetry at first, but it's grown on me.

The manual completely transforms it. I'm a happy camper.

I'm guessing that you'll use your partner's car for longer trips, or at least I hope so due to the lack of cruise control. The last car I owned without cruise control was my 96 Saturn. I was a traveling salesman at the time. 3 hours without the ability to even use cruise for a minute was brutal. Sometimes your foot needs a rest. But if you have to give up cruise control for a manual, it's probably worth it.

Probably. His has way more features. I will be driving the Cube on the close to 400 Mike round trip to my mom’s a few times a year. That’s not a too terrible drive without cruise control.
